Win it Wednesday & Featured Vendor Review {Pro Digital Photos}

Today's Win it Wednesday and Featured Vendor Review is sponsored by:

I love the products Pro Digital Photos has to offer.  They have a wide range of products to make your clients happy!   I am reviewing 4 of their products today, but first I'll let you know about the different paper products they have to offer for printing.

Pro Photographers: (click here to fill out an application to receive a password)
They also offer wholesale pricing for pro photographers who prepare their own images and are looking for a direct output option.

  • Printed on Fuji's exclusive professional paper.  Pro paper has the best image reproduction with outstanding blacks, superior density, and contrast.  It is also thicker than consumer paper and feels nicer by comparison.  Pro paper also has a lustre finish, which many prefer to matte or glossy.

  • The back of pro paper (up to 11x14) has a watermark stating that the print is copyrighted and cannot be reproduced without permission. This is a great benefit to the photographer and also adds to the professionalism from the customers point of view.

  • Pro paper can only be purchased by certified digital pro labs.  You and your customer will know that your prints are the highest quality possible.

  • Their monitor match guarantee insures the closest possible color to what you see on your properly calibrated monitor.

  • Priority service puts your orders at the top of our queue automatically.  You can expect significantly faster turnaround times for your pro orders.  With the ability to add a VIP Rush for a flat rate to meet those important deadlines.

  • Prints from wallets to 36x54 on Pro Lustre, Mounted Prints on Gator, Standout Mounts, and Canvas from 8x8 to 36x54 are all offered through this service.

  • Press Printed cards, double-sided, folded, and die-cut, are also available with a pro account and include free envelopes.

You can order a Sample Pack from them to show your clients the great quality and variety Pro Digital Photos has to offer.  This is how it comes, in a cute little brown bag.
Here are the samples for a Postcard and Flat cards and Fliers.
Folded cards:
Vertical, Horizontal, and Fold over flap cards:
Gatefold Card with a Belly Band: I LOVE this one!
Look how cute it is for weddings and newborns.  Christmas cards like this would be awesome too~:
Bookmarks and Business Cards:
They offer different finishes to your photo printing also.  Pro-Lustre, Metallic and Matte.
Now for my favorite item a tri-fold card that HOLDS A CD! I love this idea to replace my ugly cd sleeves I've been using!

I love the quality of each sample that was sent to me and can't wait to show them to clients!
And of course I love the chocolate and pen that were included as a gift for me!  You can't go wrong with chocolate!

Now for the products I tested:

#1: Shaped Metal Print
This shaped metal print is beautiful!  Flawless and the print is crisp and reflects beautifully!  I know this is going to be a big seller!  It comes with two holes and the ribbon for hanging.  You can change out the ribbon to match your decor.
#2: Photo Mug
These photo mugs are great gifts for Mothers, Fathers, Grandparents, etc.  I washed mine on the top rack of the dishwasher and it came out looking just like new.  The only thing I didn't like was the image got a little washed out with printing, but there are several different designs on the web site for you to use or you can create your own template!  These come in a cute white box.

#3: Photo Magnet Calendar
These are perfect for Clint Thank You Gifts!  The print quality is perfect and they are so much fun.  There are a lot of templates for you to choose from also.  The whole back is a magnet and its flexible.  They come in this cute envelope too!

#4: Metal Cuff Bracelet
This one is my favorite!  What mother doesn't want to wear this!  They are beautiful!  AND you can choose your template or make your own!~  These are adorable and great print quality and they come in a cute little box with a bow.  Ready to give as a gift or right to your client.

Be sure to check out Pro Digital Photos and order some samples for your studio!  Now on to the GIVEAWAY!

Featured Vendor Review {Silver Lining Backdrop Shoppe}

Our Featured Vendor today is...
Silver Lining Backdrop Shoppe!!

(be sure to check out the discount code and giveaway at the end of this post!)

I am so excited about this review!  This company has such a great variety of backdrops, floor drops and combos with a backdrop and floor drop all in one.

The backdrop/floordrop I'm reviewing today is the Vintage Colorful Damask.

About Their Products:
All drops and floors are made with the highest quality waterproof vinyl.  Vinyl is tear resistant and very durable.
Their backdrops are made with a large format printer.  They are easily cleaned with mild soap and warm water.
They store easily being rolled back into the tube container they come shipped in.

And on with the review!~
We had a fun little session with some cute little dancers.

 Here is the set up in my kitchen dining room ;)  I used my portable backdrop holder and a piece of molding from Home Depot to hide the transition from floor drop to backdrop.
 Here is what the backdrop looks like with out the molding.
 And a close up of the transition.
 Here is a close up of the back of the vinyl.  If you look really closely, you can see a bumpy texture.  This gives the backdrop and floor drop a little bit of friction, which makes it not slippery.

I would highly recommend these backdrops.  The colors are vibrant and the wood flooring looks very real in the photographs, don't you think?  I know this will last a very long time if I take good care of it.  It is well worth the money to purchase these vinyl backdrops as apposed to the paper ones.  I am not clinching every time someone walks on it with their shoes like I do with the paper floor drops.

Here are some more images from the shoot:

Featured Vendor Review {Jo Totes}

I am so excited to write a review on my favorite bag from:
Jo Totes!!

I love all of their bags, but this one caught my eye.  It's different, and I like different.

Why buy a fancy camera bag?  Well lot's of reasons, but I'd say my number one reason is that it doesn't look like a camera bag, so people aren't thinking, "Hmmm, I bet there is a lot of expensive equipment in there," they just think it's a normal bag.  If you haven't noticed, there aren't a lot of fashionable AND functional camera bags out there, that's what's so great about Jo Totes!

The bag that I reviewed is the Betsy in Mustard.  I LOVE the color!  When we got it in the mail, my husband opened the box and was instantly impressed that the bag came in it's own protective bag :)  He also said, "This bag is REALLY nice!" Let me just tell you, this man is hard to impress when it comes to quality, so that's saying something!

Ta Da!  Here it is... Don't you just love it!?
Front

 Details

Inside the bag are two straps, one short (to wear it like a purse) and one and one (adjustable length) long and a shoulder pad.  Also, the three adjustable Velcro dividers.

Here are the dividers

The inside bottom and half of the sides of the bag is totally covered with the soft side of the velcro so it is completely customizable for your equipment.

I love the front pockets for lens caps, lip gloss, tissue, lens cloths, etc.

 They have a magnet closure for easy access and easy, secure closure.
 And the cool part, the flap is a huge pocket too!!
 More details...
 I absolutely LOVE that the whole thing zips closed a the top.  Nothing will fall out of this baby!

I love my new Jo Totes Betsy!  Head over to Jo totes NOW and pick your favorite for your Christmas Wish List!

Featured Vendor Review {Camera Coats}

Camera Coats Story:
{The Skinny}
In February of 2010 we took a family trip. You know how that is...bags, strollers, carseats, blah, blah... Since we were flying, our hands were especially full. I wanted to take my Nikon, but did NOT need another bag to carry onto the plane and didn't want to check my little bundle of joy. (Anyone nodding their head about now?:))
So, I went into problem solving mode. I had made a little fabric bag/holder/protector for my 6 year old's video game and decided my camera was more important...so I threw my camera in it, put it in the diaper backpack, and off we went.
It was life changing I tell you. It was protected and it didn't have to haul another bag around!
I kept that little cover on my camera (wearing it around my neck) as we went to the beach, the Magic Kingdom, and everywhere else. I was in love. My little "coat" protected my camera from the bumps of crowds, kids spills, sun, rain, snow, sand, and anything else that came my way.
My friends wanted one. And thus, began our journey with Camera Coats.

I had the opportunity to review 3 of these cute camera coats.

The Gray Chord Shabby Coat
Brown Damask Rain Slickey
And the Black Jacket

Here is my video review.  I know!  Great idea, right ;) !?  Now, go and subscribe to me on You Tube.

And just in case you don't like watching the video:
Here are some of the images I took.
The coats come packaged in this clear plastic sack.  With a cute little sticker.
 In the packaging.
 Inside, really cute fabric, and in some, you can choose the fabric lining!  LARGE velcro tab makes it easy to fit different sizes of cameras.
 Closed up, and the cute rosettes
 Close up of the tag and loop.  The loop is great for hanging your keys on and looping around your camera strap for safe keeping :)
 Pockets on the back for lens covers, memory cards etc.
 Back of the tag, cuteness!
