I received this beautiful
Vintage Marange floor mat in the mail in a large tube. All rolled up and ready to go!
I moved my dining room table, (cause my studio is in my home, where my dining room table is, Ha!) and got out my backdrop stand and clamps. Ready to go!
Cue the cute little dude...
For this shot he is just sitting right on the backdrop. Just as it's shown above.
Here, I put the floor drop on the floor and stood over him and took the shot.
He's looking over at his momma :)
And here is the floor mat with molding and a backdrop.
He was just rolling that pumpkin and I just love his face here...

There are a lot of things that I LOVE about this floor mat:
1. It's large!!
Big enough to move around my subject and not worry about the mat going out of frame.
2. It's EASY!
Just roll it up when you are done and throw it in a closet, NO wrinkling!
3. It's Machine Washable
'nuff said
4. It's durable!
This will be around for a VERY long time, even with little ones throwing pumpkins on it :)
"All of their faux floor mats are made with a
25% lycra / 75% polyester blend fabric and 100% natural rubber. When
you're done with them you can simply roll them up and move them.They are
durable, easy to clean and they don't wrinkle. They also don't produce
an unwanted light reflection that some vinyl backdrops or floors have.
All mats can be washed in a washing machine on cold and laid out flat to
dry. Multiple washings may fade the color."
The only things I didn't like:
1. The smell isn't the greatest, rubbery.
2. It was a little hard getting it out of the tube, cause it sticks to the cardboard. It took 2 of us :)
The floor mats are made with this black, Mouse Pad like, rubber backing so they don't slip around while your clients are walking on it. It's thick and wonderful.
I also LOVE using the floor mats for product photography...
Easy peasy, roll out the mat in a well lit area, throw your product on it and viola!
